Cookie Policy (EN)
This policy describes which cookies we deploy on crosssector.ai, for what purposes, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Statement.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We distinguish:
- Essential cookies: required for basic functionality (security, form protection).
- Analytics cookies: measure site usage and are configured for low privacy impact (e.g., IP anonymisation).
- Marketing cookies: track you for ads/profiling. We do not use them.
2. Which cookies do we use?

Processing occurs in the EU cloud (data minimisation; no ad profiles). We use analytics only in aggregate, limit identifiers (cookieless) and do not store URL query parameters.
3. Legal basis and consent
- Essential cookies: necessary; no consent required.
- Privacy-friendly analytics cookies: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and the Article 11.7a Dutch Telecommunications Act exemption (no consent when configured for low privacy impact).
- Marketing cookies: not applicable. If this changes, we will show a consent banner and update this policy.
4. How can you manage cookies?
- Use your browser settings to delete or block cookies.
- Want to disable PostHog tracking? Email info@crosssector.ai and we can help apply an opt-out for your session.
- Disabling all cookies may impact basic functionality.
5. Third parties and transfers
We use PostHog EU Cloud for analytics. Data is processed in the EEA. If support/administration scenarios involve international transfers, we rely on SCCs 2021/914 and conduct a TIA (see Privacy Statement).
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy, for example if we plan to use marketing cookies. Material changes will be posted on the site with an updated “Last updated” date.
